Of type Electric, Cablelifer is particularly weak against Pokémon and attacks of the Ground. You will therefore need to favor Pokémon of these types in your team or having attacks of this type. Here are some examples of Pokémon very strong against Cablelifer and the best attacks to give them:
Crocorible, Golemastoc, Regigigas, Nidoking, Mega Dardargnan or even Ho-Oh are also very good Pokémon against Cablelifer.
