Araqua Pokémon GO: Shiny, Obtaining and evolving into Tarenbulle

Araqua is now available, for the first time, on the Pokémon GO mobile game. Here’s everything you need to know about this creature and how to evolve it into Tarenbulle.
THE Aquatic Festival 2022 has just started on Pokémon GO! The opportunity to capture a Lokhlass with scarf, a shiny Opermine but above all, for the first time, a Araqua !
How to get Araqua on Pokémon GO?
So it is since this Thursday, May 12, 2022 that Araqua has made its entrance into the game. Thanks to the Aquatic Festival event, it is now possible to find it in different ways:
- It appears more often at thewild during the event: keep your eyes open!
- You can get it after completing thefield study “Catch 15 Pokémon”,
- You can get another one by completing thespecial study limited time event “make 25 spin throws”
Note that after the event, Araqua will still be available in the wild. Types Water And InsectAraqua will also be more likely to appear during a rainy weather.
How to evolve Araqua into Tarenbulle?
Araqua is one of the very easy Pokémon to evolve in the game. To do this, you just need to collect a few candies:
- You need 50 candies of Araqua to make it evolve into Tarenbulle,
- Use some Nanana Berries when you capture an Araqua in order to increase the number of candies earned,
- During the event, a Global Challenge will allow you, if successful, to activate a candy bonus x2 to capture.
Araqua Shiny: what does it look like?
Unfortunately, Araqua is not currently not available in chromatic version. We’ll have to wait a few more months. In the meantime, here’s what it looks like in shiny if you’re curious:
