Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 looks to improve on its cult predecessor in almost every way. By taking the Gears of War-like style of the first game and adding elements from Doom and Helldivers 2, Warhammer fans have a lot to look forward to.
While the original game was released at a time when online multiplayer was in its infancy, Space Marine 2 launched in the midst of this game mode’s boom. For this reason, Focus Entertainment committed to offering a Battle Plan to maintain interest and replayability.
Space Marine 2 Post-Launch Content Trailer
Focus Interactive has released a trailer for Space Marine 2’s free and premium DLC on October 15, 2024. This trailer details what will be offered in the game during the first year of launch.
Space Marine 2 Year 1 Battle Plan Explained
The developers of Space Marine 2 have planned four seasons that will take place in 2024 and 2025.
These seasons will offer free updates accessible to all players, as well as unlockable premium cosmetic content for those who have purchased the Battle Pass.

Space Marine 2 Season 1
Season 1 launched on September 9, 2024. While its updates aren’t as significant as those to come, here’s a look at what’s been made available:

In a Steam postFocus revealed that the first weeks after release will be dedicated to stabilizing the game, based on player feedback.
“ During the first weeks after launch, we will focus on collecting your feedback through all community channels to make rapid adjustments and improvements through patches,” explained the developers.
Season 2
While an exact release date for Season 2 has yet to be announced, Focus has shared that this batch of DLC and post-launch content will arrive in 2024« between October and the end of the year “.
