OneXFly F1 Pro is the first portable console with Artificial Intelligence

The number of portable consoles that we can find on the market is very wide and varied and adapts to all budgets. The nintendo switch is the most popular of all, followed by Steam Deck from Valve, the ASUS ROG Ally X and the Lenovo Legion GO to name the best known, although they are not the only ones and the number of consoles of this type continues to expand.

A few months ago, AMD presented the new generation of processors with integrated graphics with Artificial intelligence with the Ryzen AI 9 HX, a processor that more than meets Microsoft’s requirements to obtain certification Copilot+ PC to perform AI tasks locally.

While we wait for the launch of portable consoles with the Ryzen Z2 processorthe successor to the Ryzen Z1 used in ASUS and Lenovo portable consoles (which will probably be presented at the CES held in Las Vegas during the first week of January 2025), other manufacturers seem to have not been able to wait and have chosen for using the range of new AMD processors with AI.

First portable console with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor

We are talking about the console OneXFly F1 Proa console created by OneXPlayer who previously launched a portable console managed by processors on the market Ryzen 7 Series 7000 for laptops with integrated graphics.

If we talk about the OneXFly F1 Pro, we are talking about the first console to hit the market managed by AMD’s new Strix Point APU, specifically with the processor Ryzen AI 9 HX 370a processor with 12 cores and 24 threads based on the new Zen 5 architecture which is also available in the Ryzen 9000X3D that the company will present next week and with the Radeon 890M graphics with 16 cores.

In terms of design, the OneXFly F1 Pro has lightning on the right and left joysticks. Also good with customizable lighting in the left and right corners where we can display the name we want. As for the screen, we are talking about a 7-inch panel type OLED with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and has a weight of only 596 grams.

In addition to the model managed by AMD’s Ryzen AI HX 370, OneXPlayer claims that this model will also be available with the processor Ryzen AI HX 365which has 10 cores and 20 threads based on Zen 5 architecture and the AMD Radeon 880M with 12 cores, and the AMD Ryzen 7 8840Uwith Zen 4 architecture with 8 cores and 12 threads and the Radeon 780M graphics card with 12 cores.

Price and availability

At the moment OneXPlayer has only announced this console so that users looking for a portable console know of its existence without adding additional information about its market launch.

We also do not know what the launch price will be, information that we will probably know during CES 2025, an event where everything seems to indicate that NVIDIA will present the new graphics cards RTX 5080 and RTX 5090.

It is likely that AMD will also have an important presence at this event where it could present the first graphics of the RX 8000 Series.
