Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an RPG that promises to be simply gigantic, especially if we start talking numbers. It’s impressive on every level.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated RPGs. After the success of the first installment, fans are eager to find out what Warhorse Studios has in store for this sequel. Recently, Daniel Vávra, the game’s creator, shared a surprising piece of information that speaks volumes about the scale of the ongoing project.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 reveals crazy numbers
According to Daniel Vávra, the script for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is impressive in size. It contains 2.2 million words, which is the equivalent of about 11,000 pages of script. These figures give an idea of the depth and complexity that the game could offer. To better understand, Vávra compared this script to other formats. 2.2 million words is like writing 100 two-hour movie scripts. It is also equivalent to about 25 medium-sized novels. These comparisons show the enormous narrative work behind this project.
This revelation quickly sparked excitement among fans. The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance was already appreciated for its historical accuracy and rich storyline. With such a voluminous script, players are hoping that the sequel will be even more immersive. They expect to discover many quests, dialogues and intrigues that will enhance the gaming experience.
A script of this size also poses challenges. Every word must be integrated coherently into the game. This means tailored dialogue, interconnected quests, and a captivating narrative from start to finish. There is also a huge amount of translation, voiceover, and optimization work to ensure a smooth experience. Under these conditions, one can imagine that the game was much more expensive to produce.
The RPG is scheduled for February 11, 2025 on PC, PS4 and Xbox Series. And of course, it is expected at the turn.
