Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Nin Zixi Shrine: Where to find it, how to complete it?

The Nin Zixi Shrine will require you to complete the quest “Makus’ Shelter” to activate it in Zelda TotK. This will allow you to recover the superb reward of “Rauru’s Blessing” as well as a chest, but be careful, the mist can play tricks on you.

Where to find Nin Zixi Shrine?
To find this sanctuary, you must first have purified the Mojo Tree by following the main quest “The Hero’s Lost Blade“. Once this is done, Head southwest from Musano Qila Shrine following the illuminated path as shown in one of the images below. You should come across a Korogu named Makus. The latter will tell you about a shrine-like structure further south of the forest. Unfortunately, you can’t go there by walking due to the mist, however, it is possible to go there by air.
Teleport to the Tower of the Ruins of the Obscurities then fly away. You now have two options.
- Either you go through the islands in order to get to the place above the shrine. Which means you have to go to the island that is in the archipelago located above the great Hyrule Forest.
- Either, you glide until you reach the south of the forest.
In both cases, you will see the sanctuary from the sky. However, to get there, you will have to be quick since the fog can get the better of you if you are not fast enough.
- Once the shrine is in sight, position yourself above it and drop down. At the last moment, deploy your parasail to avoid fall damage.
By following these steps, you will be able to unlock this sanctuary.
How to complete it?
This sanctuary is part of the Blessing of Rauru, so you won’t have to solve any puzzles to complete it. Just collect the Benevolent Glow and the chest containing a powerful golem bow.
