Here is a shrine from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom that will require you to better understand the ice element. Find the video guide at the top of the article as well as the written and illustrated version below.
Where to find Qima Yata Shrine?
To find the Qima Yata Shrine, you need to go to the northeast of the map. More precisely northeast of Will Cliff where you will find an area that may resemble a half-dried lake or hot springs. You won’t have to look long since it is visible by walking in this area. If you don’t have access to the Cliff of Will yet, start from Si Tumoi and glide to your destination.
How to complete it?
This sanctuary is one of those that does not allow you to use your equipment. You will therefore have to make do with those made available in the room to face the golems.
- Take the equipment available on the stand upon arrival.
- Head right to pick up an Ice Launcher which will allow you to freeze enemies on the ground, carrying it with you throughout the room.
- Eliminate the golems that will come to attack you by starting by freezing them with your soneau object then hitting them with your weapons.
- Head to the left side to collect Frost Fruits by lifting the Ice Launcher which will allow you to freeze new enemies before hitting them with your equipment.
- All you have left to defeat them is the archers.
- Use Frost Fruits to freeze them before shooting normal arrows to KO them. Be careful, as one of them may come down from your shots, so remember to look at the ground if you haven’t defeated all the golems, but none of them are located high up.
- Head through the unlocked passage to obtain your Benevolent Glow as well as the chest and conclude this shrine.
