Since the end of the 2024 World Festival, a new monster from the Paldea region has been coming to your mobile devices in Pokémon GO. Today, it’s the Pokémon Family that joins the long list of creatures to add to your Pokédex thanks to the Ultra Bonus event “Strength in numbers”.
Pokémon GO Companion: How to get it in the game?
Compagnol is a Pokémon that is quite difficult to obtain in Pokémon GO currently since it is not available in raids, in the wild or in eggs. If you want to acquire one, you will only have to participate (for the moment) in the Ultra Bonus event “Strength in Unity”, available from July 17 to July 22 at 8:00 p.m. Afterwards, you will have to be very lucky to meet it.
As of now, the only ways to get it during the event are to:
- Spin Pokéstops during the event to get special Field Research. Completing them can earn you a Companion encounter,
- By completing the free one-off study “Unity is strength”
- By completing the paid study at €4.99
Pokémon GO Companion: How to evolve it into a Famignol?
Compagnol is one of the Pokémon that only has one evolution: Famignol. To transform into this creature, you will simply need 50 candies. Don’t hesitate to use Nanana Berries to double the candies when capturing in order to obtain 6 candies instead of 3, which will allow you to have your Famignol more quickly.
Note that as in the main series, Compagnol can evolve into two different forms of Famignol: the family of 3 or the family of 4. This is completely random.
Pokémon GO Shiny Companion: Is it available?
Since it’s only just arrived on Niantic’s mobile game, it’s only natural to wonder if its shiny form is also here. Usually, the shiny version arrives at a later date, and that’s certainly the case for Companion. Which means that you can’t get Shiny Companion in Pokémon GO right now.
