Here’s a new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom side quest that’s among the rumors for Penn of the Gazette to complete. Check out the video above and the written version of this short story In Search of Truth in a Relay.
The Missing Tools: Obtaining the Rumor
This quest is part of the 12 investigations that you must complete with Penn in order to complete “In Search of Truth” in the Gazette des Bois and obtain the rewards. You will find it at Swamp Relayin the Central Hyrule region, north of Sahasla Plain Tower. The nearest shrine is Tuqa Loqu.
Once there, you’ll find Penn outside wondering where poor Elos’s farming tools have disappeared to. Find Elos at the bottom of the relay, on the river pontoon.
Build a raft and find the missing tools
Now that you’ve spoken to Elos on the dock, your objective is to repair his raft. Nothing could be simpler: use the Grip power to take the two soneaus artifacts which are on the rock in front of you. First place the rudder in the center of the raft then the turbine at the back.
Talk to Elos again to tell him that the raft is ready and he can get on it. Before you leave, you must cut the rope at the front of the boat holding it. Once this is done, jump on the boat and take the rudder to control the direction. No need to have boosted your battery to the max since the current of the river will be largely beneficial to you.
Elos knows exactly where its tools are and will guide you to the “flower bench” at the very end of the river. You just have to dodge the rocks on the way or you risk having to start the course again. Aim for the final pontoon for the raft to stop by itself. There, you will meet the farmer who had the tools in her possession to take care of Lady Zelda’s secret garden. Penn will then join you to end the quest.
