Here’s a new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom side quest that’s among the rumors for Penn of the Gazette to complete. Check out the video above and the written version of this short story In Search of Truth.
Gourmets Don’t Arrive: Getting the Rumor
This quest is part of the 12 investigations that you must complete with Penn in order to complete “In Search of Truth” in the Gazette des Bois and obtain the rewards. You will find it at River Relayin the Central Hyrule region, west of Sahasla Plain Tower. The nearest shrine is Taji Qatu.
Once there, you’ll find Penn outside, leaning against a tree, who will tell you about Gottah’s problem. Find him in one of the enclosures around the relay.
Where to find gourmets and how to prepare Zelda recipe?
As indicated by Gottah, the band of cooks were to borrow the Arfan Bridgejust below the relay. Go there and follow the path past Boulieh and his sign. You will find many clusters of Hyrule Tomatoes along the way for your recipes. One of the Dragon Tears is also at this location.
A little further on, you will come across a camp with tents and the famous cooks who seem to have fainted. They tried to prepare Zelda’s recipe but it went badly and are now having a bad time.
Your goal? To cook them the real dish and give it to them! The perfect recipe is in the book in the middle of the table. You must prepare a venison rice bowl with :
- 1 bushel of rice
- 1 salt crystal: found by breaking rocks in caves,
- 1 venison: by killing wild boars or other animals (there are some around the camp),
Give one of them the bowl of rice and they’re on their feet! Penn will come right over to give you your reward for this well-conducted investigation.
