Here’s a new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom side quest that’s among the rumors for Penn of the Gazette to complete. Check out the video above and the written version of this new In Search of Truth below.
The Cocotte Oracle: Obtaining the Rumor
This quest is part of the 12 investigations you must complete with Penn in order to complete [En quête de vérité] of the Gazette des Bois and get the rewards. You will find it at South Akkala Relayin the Akkala region, east of the map. The nearest shrine is Maya Tidegina and the nearest point of interest is the Village of Euzéro.
Once there, you will find Penn outside, in the sheep pen, leaning against a tree. He will explain to you that you must investigate the oracle at the top of the hill which is none other than a chicken! Talk to Chuck right next door to get his opinion and rush to see the hen.
The three challenges of the Cocotte
Still nothing about Princess Zelda but this mysterious hen will ask you to complete three challenges if you want information:
- Climb to the top of the relay within the allotted time : logically it’s raining and the climb is therefore difficult. If you have a soneau Turbine artifact on you, it’s time to take it out, put it on the ground and activate it to be able to fly with your parasail a little higher and finish on foot. The adhesio remedy can help you, otherwise equip yourself with part of the Batrachian Outfit if you have obtained it (reward after 4 completed investigations),
- Bring back 3 logs of wood : Go down below and cut down some trees (a simple sword will do). Use Grip to glue the pieces of wood together and bring them up next to the hen,
- Combat : surprise! The hen was actually a member of the Yiga clan and you will have to eliminate it to complete the quest.
