Having trouble using the awesome power of Babil, Sidon, Yunobo or Riju that you just unlocked during the main storyline of Zelda TotK? Don’t panic, your oath is still available! Here’s how to activate or revoke the oath.

In addition to the 5 very useful powers that Link can use thanks to his magic hand in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, advancing in the main storyline will also allow him to unlock very interesting secondary skills for exploration and combat.

How to unlock sage powers?

When you head towards one of the four regional main questsa strong ally on site will always help you easily complete the Temples and you will then definitively obtain its power. Babil, from Piaf Village, allows you to glide over a longer distance, Sidon, from Zora’s Domain, grants you a temporary water shield, Yunobo, from Goron Village, can destroy entire rocks and, Riju, from Gerudo City, generates an electric dome that you can use to create an explosion.

How to activate or revoke an oath?

In short, so many useful powers that you may want to activate or deactivate during your adventure. If by mistake you no longer have Babil behind you for example, either because he has disappeared or because it is a bug, you must then reactivate his oath.

  1. Open your inventory with “+”,
  2. Go to the second to last tab with the star icon called “special items”,
  3. At the very bottom of the list you should see some sort of talisman (only one if you only have one power),
  4. Click on it and select “summon” to bring your ally and use their power.
  5. You can also click “revoke” to make it disappear.
