If you want to build your dream home in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you will first have to complete a mandatory side quest with Grosaillieh and her companion! The video walkthrough is just above, otherwise you can find the written version with images below.
Spending time with Tinieh
Arriving at the Village of Euzéroyou will be able to find the house of the famous boss of Boulieh who does everything to hold the promotional signs: Grosaillieh. You then learn that his wife and he had a daughter called Tinieh. She will have to leave the nest to go to the Gerudo City and “Zazounet” absolutely wants to offer him a nice leaving present.
To begin, you will need to spend some time with Tinieh: if it is daytime, she is logically near the fountain of the city. If it is late, Tinieh will be in her room, upstairs, and we will have to rest by a fire to wait for the next morning.
Tinieh learns the Gerudo language and tells you that she will join his grandmothernear the fountain. The answer to the question is “Vaaba“. Follow the little girl then not far from the monorail. Behind a pole, she will explain to you that she wants to go down to join her father but that she cannot pay the obligatory 20 rubies. You will therefore have to help him create a diversion. To do this, you can either go through the cave below the village and go to a sort of rock pedestal (where the Elusis is) to use Infiltration and land directly in the blocked room of Grosaillieh’s house. Inside, you will find a promotional sign with his image. Use Grip to move it and unlock the door.
You can now use this sign to place it a few meters in front of the monorail guard. Not too close, or he’ll stop you dead in your tracks. Otherwise, you can use the wooden plank leaning against the house in front of the guard, and a crate available further away. The goal is simply to put something in front of his eyes so the little girl can pass.
Once everything is ready, talk to Tinieh to take the monorail and join her downstairs using your parasail. Talk to Tinieh and her father.
Finding Radiant Flowers for the Hot Air Balloon
To make Tinieh’s hot air balloon special, her father wants to paint it in yellow like the sun. To do this, he will need x10 Radiant Flowers. If you have already explored Hyrule for several hours, you should already have a few, if not here are several ways to easily obtain them:
- THE NPC in front of the gachapon machine a little further will give you a Radiant Flower as a reward for the quest “What’s in it”. You just have to operate the machine by putting some golem horns in it to obtain soneau artifacts,
- Next to the construction site where Grosaillieh works, search the surroundings well, climb the small cliffs to find some radiant flowers,
- If you have any Amiibos, now is the time to use them as some can give these kinds of resources!
- And finally, you can return to the Prelude Sky Island to find a few more.
Now that the quest is complete, you can return to Grosaillieh’s wife in front of her house: she will offer to build your own home for 1500 rubies.
