For once, we meet today for a new article entirely dedicated to the French voices of a recently released video game: Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. If you are also passionate about dubbing or you would simply like to know where you could have heard this cult voice of Zelda or Ganondorf, then you are in the right place. Find below the complete French cast of TotK. Beware of potential spoilers concerning certain characters. We also owe the artistic direction to Nathalie Sionneau.
Adeline Chétail is Zelda
The princess of Hyrule, just like in Breath of the Wild, is played by the renowned actress, Adeline Chétail. You have of course already heard her voice in High School Musical for example, as Gabriella Montez (and she is the recurring voice of Vanessa Hudgens), in Wakfu, in the Arcane series and in League of Legends as Jynxin The Last of Us asEllie or even in Overwatch as Mei !
Note that Link does not have a French dub since he does not speak. However, the sound effects are taken from the Japanese voice of Kengo Takanashi.
Frédéric Souterelle is Ganondorf
Here is another name that you are likely to come across often. Frédéric Souterelle has a voice that you can find in many series and cartoons but who is especially known for embodying Kratos in God of War and Chopper in Overwatch.
Bernard Lanneau is Rauru
We can’t reveal the exact identity of the voice that addresses Link from the first hour of the game, but you will probably recognize Bernard Lanneau. He is the regular voice of Michael Keaton (you recently heard him in Spiderman Homecoming for example as Vulture), by Kevin Costner or Alec Baldwinn.

In order not to spoil you, you will find below the other actors and actresses with spoiler tags concerning their characters.
