Star Wars Outlaws Reputation: 3 Ways to Improve Your Union Relations

While there is no romance system in Star Wars Outlaws, Kay Vess will still have to make sure she gets along with all the factions in the game in order to enter their territories, receive contracts, and access merchants. Getting along with the Ashiga Clan, the Pyke Syndicate, the Scarlet Dawn, and even the Hutts is essential if you want to enjoy the game 100%, but that doesn’t stop you from betraying a clan whenever you want. Having a bad reputation with a faction will force you to infiltrate their bases constantly and you will be regularly pursued by bounty hunters.

So here are 3 techniques to quickly increase your reputation with a faction.

Complete contracts and opportunities

In addition to making dialogue choices in favor of one faction over another (this greatly improves the reputation of the chosen clan), you can also head to the Cantinas and accept all sorts of contracts: smuggling, delivery, infiltration… This will not only give you some credits but also reputation points. Opportunities are a little rarer, but available on each planet: prioritize them when you know that you do not have a good reputation with a clan (after a main mission for example). Being able to freely enter the territory of a former enemy is a real advantage, especially if you are looking for treasures or even Experts to recruit.

Complete trades with merchants

This is probably the best way to earn a lot of reputation. Locate the merchants on each planet: they usually belong to a specific faction. You can buy or sell items from them, but also access requests. What interests us more specifically is in the “Exchange” tab. It is simply a barter and if you have the necessary materials, you will then earn a lot of reputation.

However, performing contracts (especially those in space) is a better technique simply because it can be repeated.

Avoid getting on their bad side

Earning points is good, but avoiding losing them will be the most important thing during your adventure. To do this, you must be careful not to tease the factions too much by wandering too close to forbidden areas or stealing a ton of materials from under their noses. Of course, don’t attack the guards just for fun.
