The second part of the 2023 Halloween event on Pokémon GO is starting soon. On the program, two new costumed pocket monsters (Pikachu and Gengar) and shiny Zorua. They will be accompanied by many other creatures and challenges of all kinds that you can find in this guide.

Halloween is all about ghosts and other creatures that lurk in the shadows, but in Pokémon GO, it’s a chance for adorable Ghost- and Dark-type creatures to come out of hiding.

Pokémon GO Halloween 2023: Event Part 2 Details

The Halloween celebration takes place in two parts for this 2023 edition and what interests us today is the second part which takes place from Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 8 p.m.. During this event, you will be able to discover new costumed creatures (Pikachu and Gengar) as well as the debut of a new shiny since Zorua will finally be able to be captured in his chromatic form for your greatest pleasure. In addition, you will be able to participate in various events when you visit PokéStops. They will highlight Pokémon like Brocélôme or Baudrive.

To fully enjoy Halloween, you will be able to take advantage of bonuses allowing you to have more candy in order to facilitate your evolutions or the increase of the CP of your Pokémon. We have listed them below.

  • Earn extra Candy when you catch a Pokémon with a Nice Throw, Superb Throw, and Excellent Throw.
  • Earn extra XL Candy by catching Pokémon with a Nice Throw, Superb Throw, and Excellent Throw.
  • Disguised Pokémon are likely to drop extra Candy when you catch them.
  • On October 31, disguised Pokémon will be likely to drop Super Candy or Super Candy XL when you catch them.

Throughout this month of October, Niantic is offering you one-off studies to complete related to Halloween. To avoid getting lost in knowing which ones are free and which ones require a ticket, we have grouped them together below.

  • Candy galore: available from Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., to Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
  • Prime Gaming Spot Study: available until November 17.
  • Strange echoes: available from October 19 at 10 a.m. to October 31 at 8 p.m.

Free studies

  • Spiritomb targeted study: available from October 19 at 10 a.m. to October 31 at 8 p.m.
  • Halloween Spot Study: accessible from October 19 at 10 a.m. to October 31 at 8 p.m.
  • One-off study of the event: accessible fromu Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 8 p.m.
