Pokémon GO Halloween Spot Study: Tasks, rewards… Here are all the details of the new quest!

The Pokémon GO Halloween event is now live and with it, two new quests have been released. The one we’re interested in here is the one called “Halloween Spot Study” which allows you to obtain Toutombe, the new pocket monster coming straight from Paldea.
To celebrate Halloween in Pokémon GO, Niantic has launched an event that will take place in two parts during which you will be able to participate in various studies like the one we talk about in this guide.
Pokémon GO Halloween Spot Study: How to access it and when does it take place?
To access this one-off study, you simply need to log into the game during the Halloween eventthat’s to say from October 19 at 10 a.m. to October 31 at 8 p.m.. Once in the game, you will need to go to the tab at the bottom right, then click on the tab on the left where you will have the various one-off studies in progress as well as the event bonuses as well as the collection challenges if there are any.
Note that it will no longer be possible to do it once Halloween has passed and that even if you unlocked it during the event, you will need to have completed all the tasks before the end of the latter, otherwise, you will lose your progress in this quest.
Pokémon GO Halloween Spot Study: List of Tasks and Rewards
This one-off study invites you to meet Toutombe, the Fantôchien Pokémon, through three stages that guarantee you an encounter with him. Discover all the tasks and rewards below.
Step 1
- Catch 5 Ghost-type Pokémon : 1,000 Stardust.
- Catch 10 Ghost-type Pokémon : 1,500 PX.
- Catch 15 Ghost-type Pokémon : 1,000 Stardust.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meet Toutombe, 25 Poké Balls and 1,000 Stardust.
Step 2
- Take a picture of a Ghost-type Pokémon you own. : 1,500 Stardust.
- Catch 10 Ghost-type Pokémon : 2,000 PX.
- Catch 15 Ghost-type Pokémon : 1,500 Stardust.
- Catch 20 Ghost-type Pokémon : 3 Nanana Berries.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meet Toutombe, 25 Super Balls and 1,000 Stardust.
Step 3
- Take a picture of a Ghost-type Pokémon you own. : 2,000 Stardust.
- Catch 25 Ghost-type Pokémon : 2,000 PX.
- Catch 1 Ghost-type Pokémon : 2,000 Stardust.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meet Toutombe, 5 Hyper Balls and 3 Nanana Berries.
