One of the side missions in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is well hidden! If you’re looking to complete the game 100%, you’ll have to look for a message in a bottle on Élimith Beach in order to find a castaway.
Start of the quest “A message in a bottle”
South of the Village of Élimith, in the Necluda region, you can find Élimith Beach. On it, at the location indicated below, you can see raft debris but also a message in a bottle. Examine it to trigger the mission: a certain Biazis, who has gone on a maritime exploration, is visibly stuck in a cave. He calls for help and indicates that he left his Lumos seeds on the way.
To find it, you just have to follow Lumos seedspreferably at night to see them better, left in the water. So you will have to build yourself a raft from a wooden board, a turbine to put at the back and a rudder. You can find all this around the bottle, on the sand.
Where to find the cave?
If you are having trouble following the Lumos Seed Trail, here is the meeting point on the map below. You need to go to the Rabel Caveon the Rabel Peninsula.
Once inside the cave, you must use the Grip power on the round rock at the end of the stream: this will free a passage to Biazis. Still alive, you can free him from his prison without forgetting to collect the rare materials around him: a large max truffle and golden ores offering rubies and other raw ambers. Biazis will give you 100 rubies to thank you.
