Zelda Tears of the Kingdom loves to complicate your life, and even being allowed to buy armor in a shop often proves to be a real headache. This is the case in Kakariko Village, with crazy prices, but also in Elimith, with a fashion director with questionable taste. One of the many steps involves figuring out how to make cheese.
How to unlock All a Cheese?
As is often the case, you must have started other side quests before you can start this quest. You must go to the East Wind shop in the village of Elimith, and talk to Goutiée, in order to start the interaction between her and Baldinn.
- By talking to him again, you will get the quest “Goutiee or Baldinn?“, which asks you to distribute mushrooms to the villagers who are not yet fans of the brand.
- Then go and talk to Baldinn, in the big house in the village, a little higher up. He will then entrust you with his own quest: “What a cheese!“
Walkthrough
In order to solve the mayor’s quest, there are actually two side quests to complete. During the day, go to the east of the village, in the heights, to reach the ranch, with the Rhodo cattle farm. Remember to talk to all the characters you come across, especially those without a Goutiée hat, in order to give them the mushrooms as a gift while you are there.
Start by talking to Rhodo, and offering him a mushroom. He will then tell you about his troubles, which will unlock the quest: “Rhodo, Master Dairyman”.

He needs to 3 Acorns to feed his cows. If you already have some in stock, you can give it to him immediately, in order to receive a bottle of milk. It is also possible to give him 3 more, in order to obtain a second bottle, and complete the second part of the quest. If you do not have enough, go hunting squirrels in the nearby forestthey drop acorns when they die. Rhodo clearly doesn’t like Chip and Dale.
The Misfortunes of Naye
The second step requires you to reach Quale Pond, a little further into Rhodo Ranch. Naye is on the dock, looking at a bottle in the water. Talk to her to give her one of Goutiée’s mushrooms. She will then tell you about her problems, which will start the quest “Naye’s Misfortunes”.
Retrieving the bottle from the middle of the pond is more complicated than you might think. It’s not enough to just swim to it and pick it up, it’s a heavy object to carry using the power ofGrip. As is often the case, the time has come to build a means of transportation capable of taking you to the center of the ponddry. The simplest options are a raft or a bridge. In both cases, you will need cut down nearby trees with a sharp weapon, which will allow you to get acorns and kill squirrels along the way. If you opt for the raft, two or three trunks will be enough, but you will need use a Turbine Capsule from your inventory, in order to have a means of propulsion.
Either way, catch the bottle in the pond with Emprise, then bring it back to Naye on the dock. She will then discover the famous cheese recipe.
Get cheese
If you have completed the two quests listed above, Naye should have opened a shop inside the ranch. Enter the house and talk to her to receive a free Elimith Cheese. You can also buy more from her if needed, if you have already used the one she gave you, or if you want to experiment with the recipes.
All you have to do now is go back and talk to Baldinn with a cheese in your inventory. He will automatically detect it by smell, which will complete his quest.
But beware, there are other quests to complete to end the village’s intrigue. In addition to Goutiée’s quest, she has a dark secret to uncover, and so does Baldinn.
