All items in Pokémon GO

There are three categories of objects in Pokémon GO. purchasable itemsTHE objects only found and the items that will be given to you. These three categories are detailed below. Note that most of them are obtainable by raising level.

Purchasable items

The objects presented below are purchasable in Boutique and for some also found in Pokéstops.

Pokéball

The Pokéball, well known today, is an object that allows the capture of Pokémon. Fifty will be given to you at the beginning of your adventure in Pokémon GO. You will be able to find them in:

– Visiting Pokéstops
– Level Winner
– Buying them in the Shop (in packs of 20, 100 or 200) for Pokécoins.

Incense

Incense can be used for attract Pokémon outside of their hiding places for 30 minutes. This also increases your chances of encountering more of them.

At the beginning of your adventure, you will be given two incense. Later, you can buy them at the Shop (in packs of 1, 8 or 25) for Pokécoins.

The egg incubator

The egg incubator (as the name suggests) will allow you to start the hatching process of your eggs. Eggs can be found in Pokéstops. Once your egg is placed in the incubator, you will need to walk (Or to roll) a given number of kilometers (depending on the rarity of the Pokémon in the egg).

You will only be given one incubator at the start of your adventure. You will therefore only be able to hatchone egg at a time. You will get a new one when you reach level 6, 10, 15 and finally two at level 20.

Also note that you will be able to purchase a “fragile” version of an incubator, which will allow you to hatch multiple eggs at once, but it will break after 3 uses.

The lucky egg

Lucky Eggs are not Pokémon Eggs. They are items to use that double the experience that you will earn during 30 minutes.

They can be purchased from the Shop (in packs of 1, 8 or 25) in exchange for Pokécoins.

The decoy module

The Decoy Module will attract pokemon around to a Pokéstop (in which it will have to be inserted) for 30 minutes. The difference with incense is that the Lure Module will work for all players located near said Pokéstop.

They can be purchased from the Shop (in packs of 1 or 8) in exchange for Pokécoins.

The bag

The bag is where you will store all your items. At the start of your Pokémon GO adventure, your bag can hold up to 350 objects (including camera and incubators).

You will be able to get more storage space in your bag by purchasing a “Bag Expander” from the Shop. This will increase your storage space by 50 locations.

Storage extension

The Pokémon storage space is where will be stored your Pokémon And your eggs that you will find during your journey. When you start the game, your storage will be limited to 250 Pokémon And 9 eggs.

You will be able to increase this storage space by purchasing a storage expansion in the Shop. This will increase your Pokémon storage space by 50 locations.

Items that can only be found

The items shown below are not purchasable and can only be found in Pokéstops or in amount of levels.

Reminders and Max Reminders

Reminders and Max Reminders will only be useful to you when one of your Pokemon will be KO (which can only happen in arena combat at the moment).

– A Recall will heal your KO’d Pokémon and restore it 50% of his maximum HP.
– A Max Recall will heal your KO’d Pokémon and restore its totality of his PV.

Boosters are only obtainable by visiting Pokéstops once the level 5 achieved. Some will also be given to you by leveling up as a trainer.

We have no information regarding obtaining Max Reminders at this time.

The Potions

The Potions care your Pokémon (not KO’d) having lost life points. Each type of potion is obtainable in Pokéstops from a different level.

The Berries

Giving a Berry to a Pokémon you are trying to catch can affect several things:

	Framby	Makes it easier to catch the Pokémon.	Level 8
	Framby Golden	Increase considerably the catch rate of the next ball.	Only obtainable in Raid.
	Nanana	Allows you to get more candy if given to the Pokémon before its capture.	Level 8
	Nanab	Allows you to calm the Pokémon down so that it is less unpredictable.	Level 8

Berries appear at Pokéstops once the level 8 of trainer reached. Some will be given to you when you earn trainer level also.

Super Ball

Super Balls are also Balls that are used to catch pokemon. They are, however, more effective than standard Pokéballs.

It is not possible to obtain any before reaching the level 12. Once you reach this level, you will be able to receive it in trainer level reward and sometimes in the Pokéstops.

Hyper Ball

Hyper Balls are also Balls that are used to capture Pokémon. However, they are more effective than Super Balls and standard Pokéballs.

It is not possible to obtain any before reaching the level 20. Once you reach this level, you will be able to receive it in trainer level reward and sometimes in the Pokéstops.

First Ball

This new type of Ball is only available as a reward from Raids. It allows you to capture Pokémon defeated during Raids.

Scalable objects

Very rare to obtain from Pokéstops, these items will allow you to make evolve certain types of Pokémon. Check out our guide to Pokémon with special evolutions to learn more.

Other objects

The camera

This item is given to you at the start of your Pokémon GO adventure and allows you to take pictures easily Pokémon you’ll encounter in the wild. To do this, simply press the camera button during your encounter.
