All Lambda Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Treasures: Where to Find Outfit Chests on the Map?

Thief Lambda has left several of his treasures on the map of Hyrule and opening them all will quickly become a priority if you plan to, for example, improve your attack or your climbing speed in Zelda TotK. Here’s where to find the quests and how to complete all of his missions.
Of all the outfits available in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, some can be found easily thanks to clues left by Lambda.
What are Lambda Treasures?
Lambda was a thief famous of Hyrule who has left his treasures all over the different regions that you can visit. Each time, you can come across a chest completely by chance but by talking to all the characters that you meet, some of them will tell you precisely the locations on the map. They are always in caves, placed on altars. Sometimes, you have to solve quite complex puzzles or have the right outfit to be able to continue.
And if you really want to go through the map-giving NPCs, look for the ones with a bubble above the quest that says “Lambda’s Treasure…”. You should encounter one fairly early in the game, in the Central Hyrule region: a woman with a mushroom hat walking next to a carriage. She’ll tell you about Lambda’s first three treasures: a piece of the Climbing, Barbarian, and Insulator gear.
In total, there are 6 sets of armor to find through Lambda Treasures and we have prepared a complete guide for each of them so that you can obtain them easily:
Barbarian Outfit
- Effect : This armor will be very useful to you from the start of the adventure for your fights since it greatly improves the power of your attacks.
- Where to find the barbarian vest? In the cave next to Len Ize Shrine (Hyrule Center)
- Where to find the barbarian panties? In the cave opposite the Ziqa Isen Sanctuary (Lanelle)
- Where to find the barbarian helmet? In a cave south of Kakariko Village
- Improvement materials : blade flowers, Lynel horns, blade mushroom
Insulating clothing
- Effect : This armor will allow you to resist electric attacks.
- Where to find the insulating suit? In the cave next to Ten Ziten Shrine (Hyrule Center)
- Where to find the insulating helmet? In the cave not far from the Utu Xoqi sanctuary (Firone)
- Where to find insulated pants? In the cave of Horon Bay (Necluda)
- Improvement materials : yellow chuchu jellies, volt fruits, electric Lezaflos horns, topazes
Climbing outfit
- Effect : This armor will allow you to climb cliffs more easily while losing less stamina.
- Where to find climbing shoes? In the cave under the Tower of the Zoran Plateau (Lanelle)
- Where to find the climbing bandana? Under a waterfall at Domaine Zora (Lanelle)
- Where to find climbing gloves? In the cave next to the Hyrule Field Relay (Hyrule Center)
- Improvement materials : clawed wings, tempo mushrooms, rubies, tempo lizards
Dream outfit
- Effect : Only allows you to look like Link from the game Link’s Awakening
- Note : This treasure can be found via a Lambda mission directly. You will have to solve puzzles.
- Where to find the dream tunic? In a cache in the Ancient Colonnades, to the left of the Tower of Mount Labulat (Tabanta)
- Where to find the dream shoes? In the ruins of the amphitheater, below the Hyrule Field Tower (Hyrule Center)
- Where to find the dream mask? At the Plateau du Tonnerre, below the Tower of Mount Labulat (Tabanta)
- Improvement materials : nox gems and star fragments
Tingle’s Outfit
- Effect : Only allows you to resemble the famous Tingle from the Zelda games.
- Note : This treasure can be found via a Lambda mission directly. You will have to solve puzzles.
- Where to find Tingle’s combination? In a cache in the Géminés Mountains, to the right of the Tour des Peuliers (Necluda)
- Where to find Tingle’s hood? In the Gerudo Lands, inside the statue of the eighth heroine (Gerudo Heights)
- Where to find Tingle’s shoes? In the cave of Cap Tubor, starting from the Tower of Rabelle (Necluda)
- Improvement materials : to be defined
Demon God Outfit
- Effect : Only allows you to look like Link from Majora’s Mask
- Note : this treasure can be found via a Lambda mission directly “Desperate Lambda’s treasure” by going to get the Brasier Outfit. You will have to solve puzzles.
- Where to find the Demon God armor? At the top of the Akkala Fortress, via the Sanctuary of Domi Zuïno (Akkala)
- Where to find the Demon God mask? In Skull Pond, above Death Mountain (Ordinn)
- Where to find the Demon God’s boots? In the Wormwood Thousand-Year Tree in the Southwest of Hyrule Fields (Central Hyrule)
- Improvement materials : Hinox nails, Ordrac scale, ruby
Holding the fire
- Effect : Allows you to boost your attack if you wear it in places with high temperatures.
- Note : this treasure can be found via a Lambda mission directly “Find Lambda’s Treasure”.
- Where to find the brazier pants? In the cave of Lake Ofroyd (Ordinn)
- Where to find the mantle of the blaze? In the Gorbi tunnel (Ordinn)
- Where to find the brazier cap? In the cave of Yun & Co (Goron Village)
- Improvement materials : fire fruits, fire lizard horns, chili butterflies, chili dragonflies etc.
Ghost Outfit
- Effect : Allows you to resemble the Spectre from Spirit Tracks but above all to grant a considerable defense bonus.

- Where to find the Spectre Leggings? In one of the sand holes of the Gerudo Desert,
- Where to find the Spectre Armor? In the Tamiand River Cave (Gerudo)
