Aquatic Festival 2022: Quests, Capture Challenge, Global Challenge and Rewards

Here are all the field studies, quests and challenges that you can complete during the Aquatic Festival 2022 in order to obtain rewards such as a Scarfed Lapras, an Araqua or even Mega-Energy.
The 2022 Aquatic Festival has just started on Pokémon GO. This is an opportunity for you to capture new creatures but also to complete some special quests throughout the event. As a reminder, you have until May 20 at 8:00 p.m. to enjoy it.
Aquatic Festival: Capture Challenge and Global Challenge
If you go to the “today” tab of your quests, you will then see this capture challenge, below the Global Challenge. There are only 5 missions to complete in order to obtain valuable rewards:
- Catch 15 Pokémon. Reward: 20 Pokéballs
- Catch 50 Pokémon. Reward: 25 Superballs
- Catch 25 Water-type Pokémon. Reward: 25 Hyperballs
- Make 25 spin throws. Reward: An encounter with Araqua
- Catch 10 different species of Pokémon. Reward: 50 Gyarados Mega Energy
- Final Rewards: Meet Lokhlass Scarf, 1000 Stardust and 1000 XP Points
On the Global Challenge side, this is a mission for all players around the world. The goal is to capture 600,000,000 Water-Type Pokémon (knowing that we are already at 93 million and there is 1 week left). If successful, this will activate a candy bonus x2 for each Pokémon caught.
Aquatic Festival 2022: All the field studies of the event
In addition to these two Special Challenges, some event quests can be obtained by spinning Pokéstops.
- Catch 5 Pokémon. Reward: Encounter with Magikarp or Wailmer,
- Catch 5 Magikarp or Wailmer. Reward: Meet Lovdisc,
- Catch 15 Pokémon. Reward: Meet Araqua,
- Hatch an egg. Reward: Meet Carvanha
- Catch 5 Water-type Pokémon. Reward: 10 Pokéballs or 5 Superballs
- Catch 10 Water-type Pokémon. Reward: Encounter with Opermine, 20 Mega Energy from Blastoise, or 20 Mega Energy from Gyarados
- Catch 25 Pokémon. Reward: Lapras with scarf
- Evolve 2 Water-type Pokémon. Reward: Meet Marill.
