Bitcoin Runes are becoming the standard for fungible token issuance on the Bitcoin blockchain network. Runes-related transactions accounted for 12.2% of total transactions, compared to 5% for BRC-20 and 0.6% for Ordinals. However, more than 82% of transactions were still regular BTC transactions as of June 17, according to Dune data.
