BitMart is a leading global digital asset exchange. BitMart just announced the launch of a new feature that allows users to convert small Spot assets to BMX. This new feature allows users to easily convert assets with small balances into BMX, greatly improving the utilization of small assets in BitMart accounts.
In cryptocurrency trading, a small balance (also known as Dust) refers to the small amount of tokens remaining after a transaction, too small to trade individually. This new feature aims to solve the problem of “Dust” in transactions, improve user experience and expand use cases for BMX.
Users who have completed KYC 1 verification can now use the BitMart website and App to make the conversion, with a limit of one conversion per 24 hours. Before converting to BMX, users must ensure that all balances used for conversion are transferred to the Spot account. Users can convert up to 20 USDT equivalent to BMX per day. If token price fluctuations reach or exceed 5% during the transition, operations will be stopped.
A 2% service fee will be applied to all conversions and deducted from BMX upon successful conversion. Some tokens may not be eligible for conversion for reasons such as temporary trading suspension, delisting, or having a balance below 0.00000001 BMX.
Currently, users holding BMX can use BMX to pay trading fees on BitMart with a 25% discount. Additionally, BMX holders can participate in various events on the exchange, including Launchpad, listing voting, and NFT Vote-to-Earn II issuance, subject to regional restrictions. The introduction of this new small balance conversion feature will further enhance the value and utility of BMX.
