Bitwise’s Ethereum ad mocks traditional financial markets

In Bitwise’s recent advertisement, the community was excited as the company mocked the disadvantages of traditional finance against ETH.

Today, asset management company Bitwise released an ad comparing Ethereum (ETH) and traditional finance in a joking tone with the title “Unlike Big Finance, Ethereum doesn’t get off work at 4pm.”

The ad portrays traditional finance as an old and tired man, while Ethereum is the more cheerful and energetic version, crypto lovers are very excited about. Excited about this ad.

In the ad, Bitwise depicted a character representing Ethereum appearing surprised when a character representing traditional financial markets said that he took a break from work after working non-stop since 9:30 am.

He added that “Ethereum would also be tiring to move billions of dollars around the world.” However, the Ethereum representative replied: “Actually, I do. But you know, stablecoins, NFTs or lending. Everyone can access me 24/7.” Immediately afterwards, traditional financial figures expressed surprise at this statement.

Additionally, the ad also jokes about the fact that traditional financial markets don’t operate on weekends. This is intended to mock the inflexible way traditional financial markets operate.

The cryptocurrency community has appeared excited before this somewhat humorous ad, they also said that crypto assets are very convenient if applied more.

Previously, Bitwise amended the Form S-1 application for Ethereum spot exchange-traded fund and announced a potential investment of up to 100 million dollars when the fund was launched.

Furthermore, SEC filings indicate that Pantera Capital Management has shown interest in purchasing $100 million in shares in this Ether ETF.

Notably, spot Ethereum ETFs may begin trading in the United States within two weeks, according to Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas on June 14.
