For its release, Black Myth Wukong is getting more buzz than we would have imagined. And its graphic quality is one of the factors explaining this relatively unexpected craze. But if the game is capable of displaying breathtaking sequences, with remarkable use of the Unreal Engine 5, it is also very demanding… The recommended configurations are indeed quite high if you want to enjoy the game in the best conditions.
High requirements, but nothing insurmountable
The editor of Black Myth WukongGame Science, has of course shared the very traditional recommended configuration sheet for its brand new baby. The only point that jumps out actually concerns the 130 gigs of storage. Apart from that, the RPG can be enjoyed from a relatively wide range of machines.
Ray tracing that catches our eye
To demonstrate the quality of its products, Nvidia did not fail to publish extracts from Black Myth Wukong “before/after Full Ray Tracing”.
As expected, it’s only once the RTX 4060 threshold is reached that the ray tracing will clearly be able to flatter your retina.
Image generation that makes the difference
For many fans, it is the technology of image generation which will allow you to fully enjoy Black Myth Wukong, in all its details and with good fluidity. So be sure to activate this setting in the corresponding menu. This is the setting that will open the Game Science game in 4K and without “loss of quality”, if you have the right machine.
So no miracles regarding this spectacular new title. Of course, it can be splendid and very fluid if your PC is a performance beast. But don’t even hope to reproduce the clips of Black Myth Wukong that you see passing by on the web from your grandma’s dusty computer. It’s a gourmet action RPG!
