Boulieh Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Position of the panels, how to make them hold?

If you need new recipes or even a few rupees, Boulieh is your friend in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom! Even if he looks strange, you will come across him many times during your exploration and we advise you to help him hold his sign each time. You will not regret it.

Who is Boulieh and what should we do?

As you explore Hyrule, you’ll inevitably come across an employee who’s a little too obsessed with his Boss. So loyal that he’d rather freeze to death in the Hebra region than let the promotion sign drop. Now that you have some useful powers like Grip and Amalgam, what you need to do is pretty logical: find a way to keep his sign from falling to the ground!

If you succeed, Boulieh will give you great rewards like special rice ball recipes, materials (arrows, bombs etc), rubies or even vouchers for a free night in the inns.

How to help Boulieh every time?

Look for building materials that are usually located not far from the NPC. When Boulieh drops the sign, he most often falls to his left, so place the objects in such a way that it blocks the fall. Sometimes, it is enough to surround the post with rocks.

The object to be placed depends on the shape of the panel. The one near Qyono Nisu Shrine, in front of Hyrule Castle, only requires a pole on the right to hold.

Unstoppable tip

In 80% of cases, the sign is located near a stall with building materials (planks, beams and wheels). Whatever the layout of the sign, the trick is to create a sort of pillar to contain the sign and not to support it (see images below). Once the first model is built, save it well with your Duplicate power in order to redo it each time you come across Boulieh.

Where to find all the Boulieh signs?

Boulieh obviously travels a lot! In total, you will be able to find him 35 times in Hyrule. If you want to go looking for it and collect the precious rewards, you can find the exact location below using the interactive map.
