There’s an exclusive event happening during Pokémon Worlds 2024 in Honolulu, but you don’t have to be in Hawaii to enjoy it. Here’s everything you need to know about the Pokémon GO World Championships to get Costumed Pikachu and other rewards.

This weekend from August 16 to 18, 2024, the Pokémon World Championships in Hawaii, Honolulu. This is an opportunity for competitors to compete in different categories to win the title of champion: the card game, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, Pokémon Unite and even Pokémon GO. For the occasion, Niantic’s mobile title is offering an exclusive event, even if you are not there.

Information about the event “Celebration of the World Championships 2024”

  • Dates: From Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 8 p.m.
  • Costumed Pikachu is available in regular and shiny versions.
  • Bonus: Possibility to make up to 5 Special Exchanges per day
  • Bonus 2: Ability to use a Charged Attack TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration
  • A paid one-time study (at 5 euros) is available to win 1 Premium Battle Pass, 25,000 Stardust and encounters with Pokémon on the theme of the event such as Azumarill, Vigoroth or Cresselia.
  • Dark Raids: Magneti, Minidraco, Axoloto, Scorplane, Qulbutoké, Kirlia and Ténéfix
