While this isn’t the first time this adorable creature has been featured in Pokémon GO, the Environment Week event once again lets you catch both normal and shiny Cherub for the first time. The event starts today, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 and will end on April 25. So you have a few days to benefit from an increased appearance rate of the Pokémon and catch as many as possible. Here’s everything you need to know about Ceribou so you don’t waste any time.
Shiny Ceribou: what does it look like?
For the very first time on Pokémon GO, Shiny Ceribou has been available in a shiny version since April 20, 2022. Below, you can see what Shiny Ceribou and its evolutions look like.
Ceribou’s evolutions on Pokémon GO
Ceribou can evolve into Ceriflor with only 50 Candies. This is where it gets a little more complicated because you can get two different forms of Ceriflor. It depends entirely on the weather present in your game:
- Ceriflor Cloudy Weather : as its name suggests, the “closed” form of Ceriflor can appear in the wild when the in-game weather is bad (rain, cloud, snow etc…)
- Ceriflor Sunny Weather : to obtain the “open” and floral form of Ceriflor, you can capture it or evolve your Ceribou when the sun is out in-game.
How to get the most Ceribou?
Note that you will be able to catch many more normal and shiny Ceribou this Saturday April 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. since a One-Time Study will be dedicated to the Pokémon Cherry. Also, don’t forget to grab your free Mossy Lure from the GO Shop, as it can attract Cherubs. Here are all the ways to catch Cherubs during the event:
- Special Ceribou one-off study on Saturday April 23 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
- Available in the wild (use normal Incense and Lures),
- Available in 7km Eggs,
- Attracted even more via the mossy lure modules,
- Available in Field Study Rewards.
