Chaos Roucool Pokémon GO: Everything you need to know about the April Chicken event!

On this first day of April, fish are out, but this year Niantic is offering us an April Chicken with an event dedicated to Pidgey. Shiny, special research, bonuses… We reveal everything you need to know to take full advantage of it.
The 1st of April is often the perfect opportunity to play a joke or two on friends or on a game. In Pokémon GO, it’s more of an opportunity to create a very limited event based on a Pokémon.
April Chicken Chaos Roucool: When is the event?
This event is quite limited in terms of duration since it stops as soon as we change days. Go ahead and enjoy it. Here are the different times to remember so you don’t miss anything.
- Duration of the event: Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Availability of the special study: Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
April Fool’s Chaos Chicken: Bonuses and Pokémon available during the event
You probably understood it, but it is a very short event which puts the spotlight on Roucool and only him. He will therefore be available more frequently in the wild as well as as rewards from field research missions. In addition, it will be possible to find them in their chromatic form although the rate is not increased since the bonus is only there to make more Roucool XXS and XXL appear.
April Chicken Chaos Roucool: Special Study Details
A special study will be available to all players of the game if they log in between 3:00 PM and 11:59 PM on April 1st. Check out the details of each step below:
Step 1
- Catch 10 Pokémon: 25 Poké Balls as a reward
- Transfer 10 Pokémon : 5 Potions as reward
- Make 5 nice throws: 5 Nanab Berries as reward
- Final Stage Rewards : 1,000 Stardust, an encounter with Roucool and 5 Framby Berries.
Step 2
- Collect the reward: 10 Hyper Balls as a reward
- Collect the reward: 5 Hyper Potions as reward
- Collect the reward: 3,500 XP reward
- Final stage rewards: 3,500 Stardust, a meeting with Pidgey, and 15 Pidgey Candies.
Roucool: How to evolve it into Roucoups and Roucarnage?
To evolve Pidgey into Pidgey, you will first have to go through its first stage of evolution, namely Pidgey.
- Roucool in Roucoups: 12 candies
- Roucoups in Roucarnage: 50 candies
- Pidgey to catch: 17 (9 using Nanana berries)
Also remember that Your Pidgey will also be able to adopt its Mega form by using 100 Mega energy.
