Did an $8 Million Hack Cause This Altcoin to Go into Emergency Shutdown?

Bittensor was forced to shut down its network on July 3 after at least $8 million in digital assets were stolen in a series of wallet withdrawals. The shutdown was aimed at preventing the breach, according to co-founder Ala Shaabana.

“Through the update, we stopped the attack and put the chain into safe mode (blocks are created but transactions are not allowed). We are still investigating and are considering all possibilities.”
