Capcom has just released Dragon’s Dogma 2, one of the most anticipated video games of 2024. The second installment of the saga presents us with an excellent action RPG that allows us to live an epic fantasy adventure in which each one You can create the character you preferbeing able to modify its appearance to obtain very varied results.
After playing for a few hours, you may find that you want to start a game from the beginning for whatever reason. The problem is that normally any video game has the option to start a game from the beginning or even has the option to save more than one save. However, that is not the case with this title.
In Dragon’s Dogma 2 there is no way to delete all progress in-game. which has been achieved and you can’t create more than one character either. However, there is a way to delete the game to start a new adventure. You just have to follow a series of steps depending on the platform you’re playing on, as we’ll explain below.
How to delete a save on PC in Steam
- You need to access the folder located at “C:\Program Files (x86) (x86)\Steam\userdata”.
- The folder that appears corresponds to your Steam user ID.
- Once inside, several folders will appear dedicated to the different games installed. In this case, the one you need to look for is the one called “2054970”.
- Inside the folder you will see a file called win64_save which is the one you need to delete.
How to delete the game on PS5
- You need to access the console configuration menu located at the top right.
- Click on the stored data option.
- Choose the option to delete files saved on the console.
- Select the Dragon’s Dogma 2 save and delete it.
- Follow the exact same process for files stored in the cloud if you have a PlayStation Plus subscription.
How to delete the game on Xbox Series
- You have to access the library of video games installed on the console and select Dragon’s Dogma 2.
- Click the options button to access the game’s internal settings.
- Inside there is an option where saved files are displayed.
- You just have to select it and click on delete all, being able to select whether it is only on the console or everywhere.
