Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree renews the gameplay with new weapons and exotic Ashes of War like Martial Arts, or in this case, Perfume Bottles. Unlike the perfumes available in the base game, these are no longer consumables, but real weapons that can be used infinitely. Attacking with Perfume Bottles simply consumes Stamina, and even more CP. This makes them interesting tools to complete your build in some cases, but you can even dedicate an entire build to them, with more than convincing results.
An interesting feature of Perfume Bottles is that they all use different attributes in calculating their damage, there is one for almost everyone.
Incendiary perfume bottle
The first perfume bottle of the DLC is not long in coming, and many characters will be able to use it. This will be your friend, when you need to be able to inflict fire damage to annoying enemies like Slims or dogs.
Attribute Bonus : Dexterity C
Position : In a chest in the middle of the small perfume camp, on the edge of the large Messmer soldier camp of the Sepulchral Plain. You can find it east of the large stone bridge, in front of Ensis Castle.
Deadly Poison Perfume Bottle
Available, very quickly too, this perfume inflicts physical damage, which can also be useful. As its name suggests, it will also accumulate poison on targets, which can be useful with a build focusing on afflictions. It is also the only perfume with a unique skill, Toxic Spray. It allows you to spread poison in a large area around you.

Position : You can buy it in Thiollier, near the Croix de Miquella, to the East of the Plaine Sépulcrale.
Lightning perfume bottle
With this perfume, love at first sight is guaranteed! This alternative element will be of great help to you against targets resistant to fire, such as Dragons or Messmer for example. Having a second affinity with Faith allows you to significantly increase its damage with many builds. This also makes it a privileged choice for all those who seriously intend to make it their main weapon.

Position : You can find it at the edge of the South Shore, on a corpse at the edge of a puddle guarded by electric golden sheep. Follow our route to reach the area.
Frosty perfume bottle
If you want to apply the dreaded Frostbite affliction, you will need to use this perfume. It also has the advantage of dealing magic damage, which is useful against many targets with armor, or resistances to other elements. You will need Intelligence to use it effectively.

Position : Obtaining it will not be easy, since this perfume bottle is hidden deep in the Larmoyeur Prisons. The entrance is located in the northwest corner of the upper section of the South Coast. You will need to pass through the Jagged Spike and the Priestess of Draconic Communion to reach the area. In the dungeon, find the key to the upper cells, then go down the ladder to reach a room with a frozen floor, and jars and intestines scattered all over the place.
Exalted Flame Perfume Bottle
Finally, if you feel like provoking the Dementia on your enemies, especially in PvP, then this bottle might be for you. It also inflicts fire damageand its damage is calculated on 4 attributes, even if the affinities are very low.

Ashes of war
You can use a fairly wide variety of War Ashes on Perfume Flasks, but only two of them are exclusive to that weapon class.
Sparkling wall
Releases a huge cloud of perfume all around you. Its nature and element will depend on the Perfume Bottle you use it with. If you want a large area effect, this is what you need.
Position : In the Black Castle, in the section to the left of the Seed Warehouse, on a corpse balanced on the railing.
Sparkling surge
Perfumes aren’t great for dealing significant damage to a single target like a boss, or for attacking from a distance. These Ashes of War can help with that, as they trigger a series of explosions in front of you. The damage and effects they do depend on which Perfume Bottle you use it with.
From afar, the damage is decent, but melee is where this power shines, as you can focus all the explosions on a single target, resulting in absurdly high damage. Expect a nerf!
Position : The Sparkling Surge is obtained by killing a flying Scarab near the Perfumer’s Camp in front of the Black Castle. Listen carefully for its characteristic sound, then look up to spot it in the air, it is quite high. You will need to use spells or projectiles to reach it.
