Fairy Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Where to easily find these little creatures that restore life?

Hey listen! If you miss Navi in Zelda TotK, know that Link can still surround himself with some fairies who will be very useful to him. Here’s how to get this precious “ingredient” that can restore your life instantly in any situation.
The fairy is a rare resource in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom if you don’t know where to look! And, once you see one, it would be a shame to miss out because it will be of great use to you during your adventure. We even advise you to keep as many as possible in Link’s bag.
What are fairies for?
If you come across slightly pink fireflies, bigger than the others, it means they are Fairies! Crouch down to approach discreetly so as not to miss them because fairies are essential to your survival. When you have one in your inventory, it can restore all of your hearts in the blink of an eye if you die. So, in the middle of a boss fight for example, or if you take a terrible fall, the famous “Game Over” will not be displayed and you will be put back on your feet thanks to the fairy.
Note that it is also possible to cook fairies (yes, it is horrible). By putting a fairy in the pot, you will obtain an Elixir of Life which gives several hearts: the more fairies you put, the more red hearts the elixir will give you.
Where to find fairies?
- Around the Great Fairies,
- At the edge of the ponds of the sky islands: Almost every time, you will see fairies flying around the watering holes on the various sky islands. Islands where there are challenges for the Freefall Outfit guarantee at least one or two.
- In some caves like at the bottom of the Secret Passage under the castle.
