How to get a chocobo in Final Fantasy XIV
You should know that you cannot get a chocobo right from the start of the game, but you will soon have this opportunity. - Malestrom: Talk to R’ashaht Rhiki in Limsa Lominsa (Upper Decks X:13,1; Y:12,8).

- Twin Adder: Talk to Vorsaile Heuloix in the main area of New Gridania (X:9,7; Y:11,1).
With the reward from your previous quest, you will need to go talk to the Quartermaster of your Grand Company. You will find him at the post that your GC (either Maelstrom, Immortal Flames or Twin Adder) has in their respective city. Talkable and, in the “Materiel” tab, you will find the item Choccobo Issue. Buy it and take it back to the NPC who gave you the My Little Chocobo quest in order to get your mount. Remember use the object which gives you the quest upon completion to add the chocobo to your mount list.
How to use mounts in Final Fantasy XIV
