This series of side quests in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is quite important since it will allow you to unlock a magnificent headdress for Link but above all a very sought-after outfit.
Goutiée or Baldin: start of the side quest
Arriving at the Village of Elimithyou will see a crowd in front of a shop: it is the shop of Goutiée, a now very famous seamstress who makes fashionable hats. Listen to the conversation in front of the shop to finally get a chance to enter. Talk to the owner to start the next part: the mayor of the village, Baldinn, is furious that Goutiée leaves his mushroom decorations everywhere outside. The two then want to hold another election to see who really deserves his place as leader of Elimith.
Goutiée mushrooms: who to give them to?
After the cutscene, talk to Goutiée again. She will ask you to help her convert 8 followers of Baldinn to his party. To do this, you will need to find 8 people in the village and offer them mushrooms. Just spot the NPCs who are not wearing fancy hats, avoid children (who don’t vote!) or stray too far. The people to target are farmers and elders. Prioritize daytime research.
- Opar (Old) : as you leave the store, you should immediately come across an old man walking in the middle of the path heading north,
- Filip (Farmer) : in the tomato field, behind the hat shop.
- Douveth (Farmer) : on the balcony of the Inn.
- Chuflor (Farmer) : at the southwest entrance of the village, sweeping the ground. Insist several times to talk to him.
- Florene (Old) : in his house (in the evening anyway) which is located next to the Zanmi Qalqa sanctuary and the East well.
- Naye (Farmer) : it is located at the very top of the village of Elimith, next to the herd of cows and at the edge of the lake. You will have to complete its side quest [Les Malheurs de Naye] to be able to give him the Champi and be able to continue Baldinn’s quest [Tout un Fromage].
- Rhodo (Farmer) : it is located at the very top of the village of Elimith, next to the herd of cows and at the edge of the lake. You will have to complete its side quest [Rhodo, maître crémier] to be able to give him the Champi and be able to continue Baldinn’s quest [Tout un Fromage].
- Theyer (Old) : it is located even further up the village, at the level of the Faras Laboratory.
A whole cheese
By searching the village a little for Baldinn’s followers to give them mushrooms, you will inevitably come across the mayor himself and it is then important to take his quest [Tout un fromage]. As explained above, it is while climbing the hill of Elimith that you will meet Naye at the edge of a lake, looking for his bottle that fell into the water, and the farmer Rhodo. By completing the two side quests, you will obtain cheese to complete Baldinn’s.
Baldinn’s Secret

Similarly, when leaving Goutiée’s shop, even before you have distributed all the mushrooms to the villagers, you can talk to his sister Sophora who will ask you to follow her, at night, to understand what she is doing.
The Great Debate
Once all the side quests in the “Goutiée or Baldinn” thread have been completed, you will be able to attend the election debate on the village square. Simply talk to Sophora in front of the hat shop to trigger the cutscene. Once finished, return inside the shop to talk to Goutiée who will offer you a superb headdress for Link! From now on, his shop will offer two beautiful outfits including theroyal guard uniform.
