The first part of the 2023 Halloween event on Pokémon GO is starting. We find new one-time studies as well as two new creatures coming straight from the Paldea region, Toutombe and Tomberro. Discover all the details to make the most of this celebration.
Halloween is all about ghosts and other shadowy creatures, but in Pokémon GO, it’s a chance for the adorable Ghost-type creatures to come out of hiding.
Pokémon GO Haloween: When is the first part and what will be the active bonuses?
The Halloween celebration takes place in two parts for this 2023 edition and what interests us today is the first part which takes place from Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. to Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10 a.m. In this one we have the arrival of two new creatures from the Paldea region, namely Toutombe and Tomberro. Additionally, there will be plenty of Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon joining the party as well. We’ll see the full list later in this guide, but before that, let’s take a look at what’s in store for all of these pocket monsters.
- PokéStop events featuring Polichombr, Branette or Toutombe.
- Three one-off studies. The first is paid for while the other two will be free.
- The third part of the one-off study ‘Candy galore’ will be available.
- New avatar items will be available in the shop.
Let’s not forget the various bonuses that will be active during the duration of the event.
- Earn extra Candy when you catch a Pokémon with a Nice Throw, Superb Throw, and Excellent Throw.
- Earn extra XL Candy by catching Pokémon with a Nice Throw, Great Throw, or Excellent Throw.
- Trainers level 31 or higher will receive additional XL Candy when Eggs hatch.
- 2x Pokémon Hatch Candy.
Pokémon GO Tomberro: How to evolve it into Tomberro?
Since Toutombe is making its debut on the mobile game, let’s take the opportunity to find out how to obtain its evolution. Rest assured, it will be quite simple, because there are no additional prerequisites for candies to carry out these transformations.
- To evolve Toutombe into Tomberro, you will need to use 50 Toutombe Candies.
Note : Don’t hesitate to use Nanana Berries to increase the number of candies obtained during a capture.
