Hisui’s regional forms have finally arrived in Pokémon GO! A chance to catch very special Qwilfish and evolve them into Qwilpik.
Pokémon GO: Evolve Hisui’s Qwilfish into Qwilpik
Introduced in Pokémon Legends Arceus, Qwilfish’s Hisui form even got a new evolution! Now available on Pokémon GO, the two creatures aren’t that hard to get: you just need to know how Qwilfish evolves into Qwilpik. It won’t be enough to collect a few candies this time around. Here’s what you need to do:
- Catch enough Qwilfish to obtain 50 candies,
- Put Hisui’s Qwilfish as Pokemon buddy,
- Participate and win 10 Raids while Hisui’s Qwilfish is your buddy.
You’ll be able to see your Raid progress directly through your Buddy Pokémon tab. Also note that regular Qwilfish Candies work: you don’t need to specifically capture Hisui’s form.
Is Hisui’s Qwilfish available in shiny?
Unfortunately, while Qwilfish’s normal form is indeed available in a chromatic version, his Hisui form is not. Not yet. You will therefore have to wait a little longer before you can get it in shiny. However, here is what it looks like, as well as its evolution:
