The Ancient Magic Hogwarts Legacy’s magic is a power worth the potential… but it’s not enough to just wish for it. Filling up its bars to use it isn’t easy, and getting more bars isn’t easy either. If you want to base your fighting style on this kind of magic, then you might want to listen to what I’m here to tell you.
Traces of Ancient Magic
Ancient Magic allows you to perform Powerful and lethal attacks against enemies. At the very least, you take a lot of their life away. At the very most, you kill them instantly. It doesn’t matter if they have shields or what type they are. They die by being pulverized in different ways and with several very cool animations.
In order to be able to Enhance Ancient Magic You need two essential things:
- Regeneration speedwhich is obtained by improving the branch of Spell Talents.
- Increase the blue bars that you see above life. If you do this, you will be able to chain together several powerful attacks, eliminating several enemies or quickly lowering the life of a powerful enemy. You must have one or more bars fully charged and they are filled with magic attacks.
And how do you get more bars? Field Guide gives us a three-part challenge in the Exploration section. You must find the Foci of Ancient Magic and collect all traces of each one. Each improvement gives us one more bar.
- Improvement 1: Collect all traces of 2 Ancient Magic foci.
- Improvement 2: Collect all traces of 6 Ancient Magic foci.
- Improvement 3: Collect all traces of 12 Ancient Magic foci.
Traces of Ancient Magic do not accumulate during the challenges. That is, for the second upgrade you will have to find 6 foci and not 4, since the 2 from the first upgrade do not count towards the second. And the same for the third upgrade. The question is: where are all the Ancient Magic foci? They appear on your map as you explore, but maybe this map will help you a bit more.
