Did you miss Tom Nook in Animal Crossing? Don’t panic, his friendly double is available in the Euzero village on Zelda Tears of the Kingdom! If you dreamed of a house to arrange as you see fit, housing is indeed a possible feature in the game. Here’s how to unlock it.

How to unlock housing?

The first step is to go to the village of Euzeroin the Akkala region, in the northeast of the map. Starting from the Si Tumoi shrine of Ordinn’s Death Mountain, you should be able to fly to the Tower of Mount Ramol and, from there, land gently at the foot of this village where the famous Grosaillieh resides.

But yes, remember… This is the Boss that Boulieh loves so much that he would rather die of cold than let his promotional panels fall to the ground! Grosaillieh is responsible for a huge construction site to the village and will first ask you to complete a side quest for him.

The second step is therefore to Complete the side quest “Tinieh’s Departure”. This is the daughter of Grosaillieh and his wife Kornuieh. Old enough to leave for Gerudo City, her father wants to give her a special gift: you will first have to take care of the little girl and then find radiant flowers to repaint a hot air balloon.

Once the quest is completed, return to see Kornuieh in Euzéro village : she will tell you about the “dream house” that she is ready to offer you for the modest sum of 1500 rubies. That’s good, by completing the mission, her husband and she have already offered you 200 rubies. All that’s left is to find the rest… The secret sanctuary in the village could help you since it contains a rough diamond, selling for 500 rubies. Otherwise, you can find tips below to get more money in the game:

And you’ll need rubies even more when you realize that your house is a kit and that it’s possible to buy new parts.

Meet on the ground

Now that you have purchased your land from Kornuieh, you must go there: it is a little higher, where a sanctuary is visible. We also advise you to unlock the Lasitaqi Uaqa sanctuary since it will serve as a teleportation point to easily come to your home.

Once up there, locate the small wooden stand and talk to Nadieh : he will be your guide to teach you how to place the pieces of your house and especially to him you will have to address each time you want to make a modification. In Construction mode, you just have to use Footprint to move the pieces.

Note that when installing your home, you will receive a Grosaillieh fabric as a reward, to customize your Paravoile at Elimith.

How to get more parts for the house?

Talk to Nadieh at his stand in front of your house and then choose the option “I’m starting the work” to enter Construction mode. He will then follow you everywhere. Talk to him again and choose “I would like to expand” then “I might buy”. This will open the catalog of rooms available for your habitat and you will have to spend rubies to obtain them and then place them as you wish.

Most parts have a very specific use. : the room to sleep and restore your hearts of course, the Goddess’ boudoir to have a Goddess at home and obtain additional hearts or stamina or even a stable for your horses.

Note that there is no no furniture to be found in chests or during your exploration of Hyrule, we are of course far from the famous Animal Crossing that we talked about in the introduction. On the other hand, you can still decorate your home a little thanks to four pieces:

  • Weapons room (600 rubies): allows you to display three of your most beautiful weapons,
  • Hall of arches (600 rubies): allows you to display three of your most beautiful bows,
  • Shield Room (600 rubies): allows you to display three of your most beautiful shields,
  • Art gallery (400 rubies): allows you to display a photo of your choice that you have taken,
