In Black and White Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: How to Solve the Riddle of the Sacred Shrine Qula Qata?

This is an extremely well-hidden shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom since it is simply invisible. To activate it, you will have to solve the golem’s “In black and white” puzzle. Find the video walkthrough above as well as a written and illustrated version below.

Where to find the Qula Qata Shrine riddle?

If you are here because you are looking for one of the last shrines that you are missing for the 100%, then here is where it is on the map. Otherwise, refer directly to the second part of this guide. The Qula Qata shrine is not visible at all since you will have to solve a rather complex puzzle before revealing it. Go to the Cortar Plainto the right of the Lanelle Marshes. You can get there from the Sahasla Plain Tower.

On site, then locate a piece of celestial island that has fallen to the ground: you must contact the Golem on its surface to trigger the Sanctuary Quest.

How to complete the quest “In Black and White”?

  • Step One: Grab a wooden board with Grip, behind the Golem, and insert it in the slot in front of the wheel,
  • Then pass the time, thanks to a campfire (bundle of wood + flint struck by a metal weapon) until morning,
  • It will then be 5:00 am and you have 1 minute to succeed,
  • Look at the shape on the cliff below, in front of the golem: you must manage to place the shadow of the pillar to which you added a wooden plank, so that the shape is identical,
  • Then wait until exactly 5:55 to see the shadow is modeled on the shape and activate the sanctuary,
  • There is nothing to do inside the shrine except collect your “Rauru’s Blessing” chest.
