Iün Oloq Shrine Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Tabanta: Where to find it, how to complete it?

While the “small or large” challenge isn’t the most difficult of the shrines in Zelda TotK, finding Iun Oloq will be much more difficult. Here’s where exactly to look in Tabanta’s Reaches and how to complete the metal ball puzzle to find the chest and the end of the temple.
The hardest part about this Zelda Tears of the Kingdom sanctuary is simply finding it! Well hidden in a cave, find our video walkthrough just above as well as the written and illustrated guide below.
Where to find the Iün Oloq sanctuary?
The shrine is located inside Borca Hill, in the Tabanta Borderlands. You will therefore have to go underneath, via a cave.
Once inside the West Tragite Cavego down to the deepest and break the different rock clusters. You can do this with a good stock of bomb flowers, with Yunobo’s power or with stony mallets (weapon + Amalgam rock). You will come across two Gastrolikes during your exploration: one ice, one electric.
The sanctuary is hidden behind the wall just opposite Gastrolike Électrique ! You have to break the rock again to see it appear, with its green glow, in the distance.
How to complete it?
- In the first room, simply enter the metal ball with Grip and let it roll down the slope so that it hits the target. This was just an appetizer.
- In the second room, stick the two balls together horizontally: you still have to roll them but, this time, on a triangular slope.
- In the last room, assemble the three balls horizontally and move everything to the left: a chest is available in height,
- You can use Grip to raise your assembly to the trunk level and then lower it back down,
- Climb up on it by climbing between the gaps of the small and medium balls then use Retrospective : you will reach the chest,
- Pick up your line of metal balls with Grip and take it to the end of the track,
- The easiest way here is to have your construct hit the target (Grasp) and then have it return to you,
- Immediately use Retrospect to cause the target to activate afterwards and free you from the temple.
