And with the presentation of the NVIDIA RTX 5090 whose TDP according to various sources will be 600W, manufacturers such as ASUS are also updating their power supply range. The latest manufacturer that has just presented new products for the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 is KLEVV, a memory manufacturer and storage units.
While it is true that KLEVV is a very little-known manufacturer in Europe, it is not really a newcomer, since it has been focusing its main activity in China for many years and for a few months they have been expanding internationally.
New CU-DIMM and CSO-DIMM memories from KLEVV
KLEVV has presented its first memory modules CU-DIMM and CSO-DIMM for the Arrow Lake S from Intel and the boards with the Z890 chip for which you can get the most out of DDR5 memory.
KLEVV’s new range of DDR5 memory offers a substantial increase in performance thanks to the integration of CKD (Client Clock Driver) through a small integrated circuit in the DIMM that improves speed and efficiency in both applications and games.
These modules regenerate the clock signal of the memory chips for greater stability and support frequencies higher operating reducing interference of free memory sockets and expanding their performance.
These new memory modules are available in 16, 24, 32 and 48 GB versions with a speed of 6,400 Mb/S and a latency of CL 52-55-52-103 at 1.1 V. It is important to note that this new type of memory is not only compatible with the new Z890 boards and the new Intel processors, but can also be used in equipment already available on the market.
Clocked Unbuffered DIM (CU-DIMM) memories are designed not only to consume less power, something very important in laptops, but also to offer a better performance implementing CKD technology to reduce interference from unused memory sockets.
Some motherboard manufacturers are using a new technology that reduces the size of the contact pins on memory sockets to reduce the level of interference they produce when they are not in use.
These new KLEVV memory modules are not the first to hit the market since they are another option that adds to the one already available for a few weeks from the manufacturer V-Color.
Price and availability
The new generation of Intel processors and boards with the Z-890 chip will hit the market on October 24, however, these new memory chips will take a little longer.
According to KLEVV, the new CU-DIMM and CSO-DIMM memory modules will hit the market before the end of the year and will do so with an unlimited warranty. At the moment, we also do not know what the price of the different capacities in which they will be available will be.
