Kraken founder donates $1 million to Donald Trump

Kraken co-founder contributed $1 million to Donald Trump and criticized the Biden administration’s regulations.

Jesse Powell, co-founder of the Kraken exchange, has contributed $1 million for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, largely in Ethereum. According to Powell, Trump is the only major party candidate to have taken a pro-crypto stance.

Additionally, Powell also expressed disappointment with the current regulatory environment of the cryptocurrency industry in the United States. He believes that characters like Elizabeth Warren and Gary Gensler is targeting the cryptocurrency sector through strict regulatory measures.

Powell also spoke up criticized the Biden administration, He believes that this approach is reducing the United States’ ability to compete in this potential market.

Despite an overwhelming bipartisan effort in Congress to set clear rules, the Biden White House has stood still and allowed an unchecked regulatory campaign to take hold.

Powell’s latest endorsement of Trump comes after a similar move by the founders of Gemini. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. Last week, the Winklevoss twins said they were donated $1 million in Bitcoin to Trump campaign.

More remarkable, Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood are also among the celebrities who have recently supported Trump. Wood shared in an interview that she plans to vote for Trump, considering him the best candidate for the US economy.
