New Shrine Quest for a New Reward on Zelda TotK! Here’s how to complete the Lars Vein Shrine by finding the green crystal and taking it to its base to activate Jo Niu and receive “Rauru’s Blessing.
Some shrines in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom are well hidden and even require activation via special quests. Jo Niu is one of them and you will have to find her green crystal to then obtain the precious Blessing of Rauru. Where to find Jo Niu Shrine?
To find Jo Niu, you will have to go through a well-hidden cave in the Lanelle region. Start from the Zoran Plateau Tower and go to Lars pond. There, spot a blue rabbit and follow it to find the entrance to the cavity and jump into the hole to fall into the water. You will then find a green crystal that can trigger the quest “The Sanctuary of Lars’ Vein”.
How to complete it?
- Build a raft with the materials at your disposal around the crystal: a wooden plank, a turbine and a rudder will do the trick,
- Paste it green crystal on the raft and drive to the bottom of the cave following the green laser,
- (You can find an Elusis Crystal in an opening on the right at one point),
- Place the crystal in the empty base for the sanctuary to be activated,
- Inside, there will only be one “Rauru’s Blessing” chest to open and you can complete the shrine by collecting the Glimmer of Benevolence.
