In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you are free to roam the kingdom as you please, and while you may be given suggestions on which quests to prioritize, or an order for dungeons, there is little chance that your game will resemble your neighbor’s. This is still one of the formula’s enormous strengths, and so, if you wish, it is entirely possible to go and get the famous sword with the purifying blade very early in your quest. Here’s how and where to get it.
Where is the Legendary Sword?
To find the famous legendary sword, you will have to ride on the back of the white dragon that you have already seen while hanging out on the celestial island of the prelude. While you are there, remember to recover a scale by tapping on its back, but also to collect crystals which are used to make very powerful amalgam weapons, especially in the middle of the game. Spotting the dragon is another matter, like the others it follows a fairly precise route spread over several days. This time, most of the dragons also form a circuit via the abysses.so it is possible to come across some during your journey into the depths, but let’s get back to our sheep. In our specific case, the white dragon was hanging around not far from our house and the Euzéro village in Akkala around 5:30 a.m.. Teleport to Ramol’s Tower to reach the dragon easily. If you follow the storyline, the location of the sword will be indicated to you by the Deku Tree in the Lost Woods.
How to get it back?
To remove it from the White Dragon’s head, the game allows itself a small pirouette compared to Zelda Breath of the Wildsince firing the weapon will drain your stamina gauge. To acquire it, you will need to have completed enough shrines to have two stamina gauges completely filled. If the count is not there and you have extra hearts, remember that you can go exchange them at the demon statue at Fort Watch.
How does the Legendary Sword work?
The Legendary Sword has many special features:
- Its handle has a base attack power of 30, a stat hidden from players.
- It is virtually indestructible and has a 10 minute cooldown.
- It is very useful against miasma monsters.
It is possible to cast an amalgam with any monster material or item: it will keep its damage and properties until it runs outin a particularly powerful final critical hit. The famous Master Sword, or Excalibur for the old-timers, is quite simply one of the best weapons in the game.
