Pokémon GO Fest Worldwide 2024 is underway this weekend, July 13-14, and all players with a paid ticket can claim an exclusive Special Research that allows them to encounter Marshadow. Here are all the details.
How to get Marshadow in Pokémon GO?
Currently, the only way to obtain Marshadow is to have participated in an event paying : the Pokémon GO Fest. You either had to be on site in Madrid, Sendai or New York, or have bought a ticket for the global event this weekend. As every year, rest assured, the Pokémon will then be available via a free study later.
If you have the paid ticket, make sure to log into the game on Saturday, July 13th to claim the quest, otherwise it will be too late. If you have already completed the quest during a physical event, this weekend’s research will reward you with Marshadow Candy instead of an encounter with him (so you can’t get him twice).
Marshadow Special Study A Game of Shadows: All Missions
This long paid special study is made up of 6 missions in total. Here are the quests to complete and their rewards.

- Spin 3 Pokéstops or Gyms: 2 Incense
- Uses 1 Incense: 24 Pokéballs
- Catch 10 Pokémon: 3 Nanab Berries

- Complete 3 field studies: 1 meeting with Couaneton
- Use 5 berries to help you catch Pokémon: 2 Incubators

- Hatch 2 eggs: 24 Super Balls
- Spin 10 Pokéstops or Gyms: 1 encounter with Emolga
