Mayan Nasi Shrine Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Lanelle Sky: Where to find it, how to complete it?

To complete the South Lanelle Sky Sanctuary quest, you will have to bring the green crystal back to its base using flying vehicles, but also complete the “guided by ice” challenge with our guide.
In the skies of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom you will find well-hidden shrines, some of which can only be activated with quests. This is the case of this temple in South Lanelle. Find the video at the top of the article and the written and illustrated version of the guide below.
Where to find the Maya Nasi sanctuary?
From Lanayru Mountain Tower, head to the archipelago where the Heroic Trial Island is located. You won’t be able to go very high, but fortunately, a small island has a machine that can be used to fly to your destination: the Sanctuary (marked on the map below). The Sonium Outfit might be useful here to increase your battery life, but you’ll need at least two pieces of gear to withstand the cold.
How to complete it?
- Once there, you will see an empty shrine base: activate it to trigger the quest “The Celestial Sanctuary of South Lanayru”,
- As usual, your goal will be to find a green crystal and bring it back: follow the green beam to spot it,
- It is located on an island a little higher up: luckily, a vehicle already trained is waiting for you to climb,
- At the top, use a sharp weapon to cut through the two layers of vines and collect the crystal,
- You can make a glider on the spot without forgetting to put a skateboard underneath so that it can move forward,
- Fly to the pedestal and activate the shrine.
- Upon entering, you will be able to experience the “Guided by Ice” test and not a blessing from Rauru,
- In the first room, use the ice jet (sound artifact) to create a long block of ice,
- Grab your ice block with Grip and slide it down the slope when the pendulum is all the way to the right or all the way to the left,
- This will activate the target and free the passage to the end of the sanctuary,
- Don’t leave just yet! You need to get the chest at the end of the second room,
- Again, freeze the water to form an ice square and take it with Grip,
- Drop it in the middle of the slope so it hits the target.
