If you’re looking to 100% complete Zelda TotK, you’ll need to find all the sky shrines like Maya Siala. The latter is well hidden and requires you to solve a puzzle with mirrors. Here’s how to do it.

Yet another shrine that is a real headache to unlock in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom! Luckily, our video guide at the top of the article and its written/illustrated version below should help you find the way to Maya Siala.

Where to find the Mayan Siala sanctuary?

The Mayan Siala Shrine is hidden in the Sky Vault Island (a large sphere in the sky of Northern Gerudo). To reach this sort of Death Star, we recommend starting from the Gano Sa Shrine, on an island to the north. There, craft a flying vehicle like a glider or a hot air balloon to gain enough height to reach the sphere. The Sonium Outfit can help you extend your battery life.

Once in the sphere, you will have to position the different mirrors the correct way to activate the shrine.

How to complete it?

  • Once in the hole of the sphere, go to the center of the room and rotate the fat mirror until a ray of light hits another mirror,
  • You will now simply have to follow the light stream from mirror to mirror in order to move them and continue the stream to the large central mirror,
  • Turn the central mirror again so that it aims at the big green target up high: that’s where the sanctuary is,
  • This will reveal a crystal and the temple: use the wind corridors to go up and enter it,
  • No trial here, this is a Blessing of Rauru: you will obtain a Star Wand in the chest.
