Benefits :

– Excellent Defense, as well as significant Special Attack and HP.

– A very rich movepool, it can indeed cover a wide range of current threats from OverUsed

– A Speed statistic that seems weak, but which turns out to be exploitable in a team based on Distortion (indeed, Distortion is a Psychic-type attack which, for 5 turns, allows the slowest Pokémon to attack first (except priority attacks, like Mach Punch/Aqua-Jet…)

Disadvantages:

– Easily exploitable weaknesses, he gets Revenge Killed easily (Except Distortion, again)

– A Talent, Armor Shell (prevents critical hits), although presenting an advantage (it allows Mega-Slowbrood to be placed safely, and to ensure that nothing passes through its boosts), turns out to be very (too?) situational.

– Mega Evolution presents a negative aspect for our Flagadoss: in fact, he loses his excellent talent Regenerator (regains 1/3 of its HP when recalled to its PokeBall) which allowed Flagadoss to be recalled to combat numerous times.

Staller Physics (OR)
Mega-Flagadoss@ Flagadossite
Talent: Armor Shell
Boiling
Nature : Insured Deflagration
EV: HP 252 / Def 232 / SpD 24
Laziness
IV: 31/x/31/31/31/31 Toxic

THE Stall Basic physics. It will be there to act as a buffer against threats that hit physical, such as Terrakion, or to annoy other Stallers like Noacier.

The attack Boiling serves as Staband it is preferred to Surfas it can potentially burn the opponent, which suits the Mega-Flagadoss friend as a physical sponge.

Deflagration is ideal for countering a possible Pokémon Insect/Plant wanting to place himself on him.

Toxic allows to titillate the Tanks adverse, and Laziness bring a little bit of Sustain to stay longer on the field.

Investing in Special Defense avoids being countered too violently by the Sweepers Specials using Choice Glasses, for example Keldeo. The rest is put into HP and Defense, to increase the tankyness of our friend.

This first set allows it to be quite versatile. However, you will have to be wary of the attack Toxicwhich really bothers him, he himself being a Tank. It will also be necessary to consider a switch on threats like Suicune, which can place its Fullness without being worried.

Melodolf is really an ideal partner for Mega-Flagadoss: one covers what threatens the other, their types are very complementary. Melodolf can bring the Heal Bell (Healing Bell) which is a form of threat defense Toxic.

Viable modifications:

Laser IceOr Grass Knotinstead of Laziness. Mega-Flagadoss thus covers more threats, but loses durability.

Flamethrower instead of Deflagrationif one is afraid of the latter’s accuracy rate.

PsychoOr Psy Shockinstead of Deflagration. We cover fewer threats, but Psycho gives us a second Stab, so we gain damage. The choice between Psy Shock And Psycho is done according to our desire to hit the physical (Psy Shock : in fact, this attack uses the special attack of the user, but the defense of the target to hit) or in the special (Psycho).

– A possible Cloninginstead of Lazinessto immunize it from the threat Toxic.

Cage-Eclair instead of Toxicto contain the opponent’s fastest Pokémon. On the other hand, we lose the boring character of this Mega-Flagadoss for the Stallers adverse.

Useful in the team:

– Mushroom

– Heatran

– Melodelfe

Examples of checks and counters:

– Suicune

– Lucky you

– Fulguris

Sweeper Special (OR)
Mega-Flagadoss@ Flagadossite
Talent: Armor Shell
Boiling
Nature : Modest Deflagration
EV: SpA 252 / HP 216 / SpD 40
Laziness
IV: 31/x/31/31/31/31 Laser Ice

A Sweeper Usual Special. With these attacks, Mega-Flagadoss covers a maximum of threats from OverUsed.

The principle is simple: this set is there to annihilate the opposing team: if the opponent has no check solid, he’ll kill all his Pokemon quickly.

The three offensive attacks cover a maximum number of types: they cover the types Steel, Dragon, Fire, Ice, Insect, Grass, Rock, Ground and Flying. Boiling further brings the threat of blight. Laziness is there simply to bring some Sustainagain.

At the EV level, investing in Special Defense proves to be very profitable since it avoids being OHKOed (= One Hit KO, in other words kill in one hit) by Latios.

Viable modifications:

– Again Flamethrower instead of Deflagrationif one is afraid of the latter’s accuracy rate.

– Once again, PsychoOr Psy Shockinstead of Deflagration Or Laser Icedepending on the threats covered by the other Pokémon in his team.

Grass Knot instead of Laser Iceto cover more specific threats, again depending on the team’s needs.

Useful in the team:

– Mushroom

Heatran

Melodelfe

Examples of checks and counters:

Motisma-Washer

– Lucky you

– Mega-Elecsprint

M-CroBro (OR)
Mega-Flagadoss@ Flagadossite
Talent: Armor Shell
Boiling
Nature : Insured Fullness
EV: Def 252 / HP 252 / SpA 4
Rest
IV: 31/x/31/31/31/31 Blabla Dodo

A set difficult to place, but if played well, can decimate an entire team.

The principle is simple: if CroBro is placed on a Pokémon that does not threaten him at all, he spams them Fullnesswhich makes it more Tanky in the Special, then Stab with Boiling. When it reaches a low HP threshold, a Rest followed by Blabla Dodo will allow for durability on the field and continue to accumulate damage.

The threat Toxic is here managed by Restsince the sleeping state will replace the poisoned state.

A Pokémon like Queulorior, which has access to Sporecan help CroBro position himself on the field. A few Fullness while the enemy sleeps, and the slaughter begins.

Be careful though, Pseudo-HazerPokémons having the attack Howl (example: Laggron), an attack that totally nullifies this set of Mega Slowbross since it sends it back into its pokeball. Also watch out for HazerPokémons having Black Fog (example: Smogogo), attack that removes any stat increase.

Viable modifications:

Surf instead ofBoilingfor more damage, but in return we lose the burn rate which deters Physical threats. The rest of the set is essential.

Useful in the team:

– Mushroom

– Quelorior

Melodelfe

Examples of checks and counters:

– Laggron

– Smogogo

– Aquali

Trick Room Setter (OR)
Mega-Flagadoss@ Flagadossite
Talent: Armor Shell
Surf
Nature : Discreet
Grass Knot
EV: SpA 252 / HP 252 / Def 4
Deflagration
IV: 31/x/31/31/31/0 Distortion

Personally, my set favorite of friend Mega-Flagadoss, a variation on Sweeper Special. This set is built around one attack: Distortion. The whole team must rely on this attack.

The hardest part is getting the hang of it Distortion : once it’s done, given its EV distribution and its nature, this Mega-Flagadoss makes holes in the opposing team. The set is therefore rotated in such a way as to cover the widest range of types.

We don’t take any Stab Psy, since we will use another Psychic-type Pokémon (example: Symbios) to launch/renew the Distortion.

Surf is preferred to Boiling simply, because this Mega-Flagadoss must prioritize damage as much as possible, its role is no longer to be a Tank.

With him therefore, a team relying on the use of this famous attack reversing the speed stats is imperative. core Symbios/Bétochef can, for example, support it.

Beware, when the Distortion ends: This Mega-Flagadoss is very fragile. Consider a switch if a threat (Mega-Elecsprint, Chapignon…) is present, and the Distortion disappears.

Viable modifications:

Laser Ice instead of Grass Knotas in the set #2, to quickly kill Dragonite and nonsense like that, and cover two more guys.

– Once again, Flamethrower instead of Deflagrationif one is afraid of the latter’s accuracy rate.

Useful in the team:

– Symbios

– Betochef

– Tyranitar

Examples of checks and counters:

– Mega-Elecsprint

– Mushroom
